| My dad and i have already planted a few foodplots this year, but we wanted to put in a couple turnip foodplots. We were thinking we should plant them middle to late Augest. is this when we should plant them or is there a better time? Thanks |

| Get them in now. The best time is late July early August. I put my turnips in a little early on the 15 of July. They are about 8 to 12 inches tall already and looking good, had a couple of good timely rains which helped. I am glad I put them in a little earlier cause I hit those rains. Drove into the patch this morning and had three does munchin on them and they came right up to me on the four wheeler about ten yards away. Hope that is a good sign! |
